The Winstub atmosphere

The Brendelstub restaurant is a typical Alsace Winstub, located in the heart of Riquewihr. Its warm and convivial atmosphere has been preserved. The 14th century Alsace town house has been majestically restored but in a more modern style. It is the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy a timeless moment together.

It appeals to all your senses. The air is filled with a plethora of aromas, the flames from the rotisserie warm the atmosphere, while the eye is attracted to the wood-fired oven, the open kitchen and the golden spit-roasted hams. The décor alone sharpens the appetite for the culinary pleasures to come.

The discreet and ever-changing lighting is a perfect image of the Brendelstub, a place that will surprise you.

Special receptions

The Brendelstub makes a perfect setting to hold private receptions, dinners and celebrations. Our savoir-faire is at your disposal to create bespoke events, to suit your every requirement.

We are able to organise a wide range of events, for example :

The Brendelstub can welcome up to 100 guests. It is fitted with a full sound system, plasma screen, video projector, laptop and computer-controlled LED lighting.

Outside catering for a minimum of 30 persons can be delivered within a radius of 20 km around Riquewihr.
