Above all, the Jean-Luc Brendel (Jlbrendel) brand is a family story. Jean-Luc Brendel and his sister Fabienne, both natives of Alsace, fell in love with Riquewihr at first sight.

A spirit of conviviality found in all the group’s establishments. Quality guesthouses are few and far between. Here, once visitors have crossed the threshold, they become privileged guests, which is why the memory of their time spent in Riquewihr will be all the stronger.  

Today, the Brendel family is taking over: Fabienne is in charge of the dining room and the gourmet restaurant’s wine cellar, while Anne, Jean-Luc’s wife runs the BrendelStub, assisted by her niece Julie.

A close-knit family open to all which enjoys sharing every moment with its guests. 

Alongside the Chef, Jean-Luc Brendel, in the Gourmet restaurant's kitchens, Stéphane his Second Chef and five other people: Karen, Stéphane, Fred, Pierre Jean, Jean Marc: all loyal and devoted.

Not to mention our other accomplices: winemakers, farmers, craftsmen from Alsace and elsewhere, who, through the love of their work and their passion, offer us exceptional produce every day, which provides the perfect accompaniment to our garden’s harvests.

The work of the Alsatian interior designer, Serge-Henry GAYRAUD, B. Espace Suites' rooms, apartments and cottage have been designed to create contemporary spaces which blend perfectly into this historical site.
